Dr. Stone grew up in rural Illinois, spending much of her time at her grandparent’s farm helpingwith the livestock and befriending feral barn kittens. Her love and compassion for animals wasnurtured from a young age and she has always known she would have a career in veterinarymedicine. Dr. Stone obtained her DVM through Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in2020 after finishing her clinical year rotations through Iowa State University College ofVeterinary Medicine. During her time at ISU she met her fiance. Now engaged, they are startingtheir life together in the Des Moines area. In her free time, Dr. Stone enjoys reading and playingboard games with her fiance. She has a cat, Mavis, whom she adopted from the island of St.Kitts in the Caribbean where she attended veterinary school before moving to Iowa. Dr. Stone isexcited to provide excellent patient care and education for pet owners so they can live their verybest lives.
